Termination Policy

Termination means the end of the working relationship between the driver and Mondo Motion LLC, whether initiated by the driver or by the company.

Yes. Drivers are required to provide a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) written notice before terminating the agreement.

This notice period allows:

proper load planning

trailer and equipment coordination

clean settlement processing

Failure to provide proper notice may result in additional charges as outlined in the agreement.

The notice must be submitted in writing (email or official company communication channel).

Verbal notice alone is not considered valid.

In certain situations (such as safety violations, compliance issues, misuse of equipment, or breach of agreement), Mondo Motion LLC reserves the right to terminate immediately.

The plate becomes inactive immediately once termination is effective

The driver must return the plate to the company

Using or keeping the plate after termination is a DOT & FMCSA violation

🚫 Operating with an inactive plate may result in fines, citations, and compliance action.

All company-issued equipment must be returned, including:

ELD devices

PrePass

Any other issued hardware

Unreturned equipment may result in replacement charges or deductions.

A 2-week notice is also required for trailer return coordination

The trailer must be returned to the company-designated location

Late or improper returns may result in:

additional rental charges

late fees from the rental provider

repossession at the driver’s expense

Deductions may apply only if applicable, including:

Outstanding trailer rental fees

Remaining plate cost balance

Unreturned equipment

Verified damages

All deductions are itemized and clearly shown on the final settlement.

Final settlements are typically processed within up to 45 business days, depending on:

broker payment timelines

open claims or accessorials

returned equipment confirmation

Drivers are kept informed throughout the process.

The claims department continues handling the claim

Deductions apply only if responsibility is confirmed

Insurance is used when applicable

No deductions are applied without verification.

The notice requirement helps:

prevent abandoned equipment

avoid service disruptions

ensure compliance and safety

close accounts fairly for both sides

Termination is handled professionally and transparently.

As long as the 2-week notice is provided and equipment is returned properly, the process is smooth and fair.
